The short version

Every product sold by Aesthetic Aminos is supplied for in-vitro laboratory research. Nothing we sell is intended for human or veterinary use, and nothing we sell may lawfully be represented as safe or effective for any use in a person or animal.

What our products are not

Our products are not:

  • Approved drugs, or investigational drugs supplied under an IND.
  • Food, beverages, or dietary supplements.
  • Cosmetics or personal care products.
  • Medical devices.
  • Compounded preparations from a pharmacy.
  • Sterile injectables prepared for administration.

They have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for safety or efficacy. No regulatory body has cleared them for any use in humans or animals.

We make no therapeutic claims

We do not claim, and we do not permit anyone to claim on our behalf, that any product we sell diagnoses, treats, cures, prevents, mitigates, or affects any disease or condition, or alters the structure or function of the human body.

Our product pages describe what a compound is — its identity, its purity, its molecular weight, its form, how it should be stored. They deliberately do not describe what it might do in a living organism. That omission is intentional. If you need pharmacological background for your work, consult the primary literature.

Any claim you encounter elsewhere — a forum post, a social media account, a reseller, a review — that attributes a health effect to one of our products was not made or authorized by us, and we take no responsibility for it.

What you affirm when you order

By placing an order you affirm, and we rely on your affirmation, that:

  1. You are at least 21 years old.
  2. You are acquiring these materials solely for legitimate in-vitro laboratory research, analytical reference, or method development.
  3. You have the training, facilities, and experience to handle research chemicals safely, or you are acting under the supervision of someone who does.
  4. You will not consume the material, administer it to any person or animal, or apply it to human skin or tissue.
  5. You will not resell, transfer, or supply the material to anyone you know or suspect intends any of the above.
  6. You will not repackage, relabel, dilute, or reconstitute the material and present it as a product fit for human use.
  7. You are solely responsible for handling, storage, use, and disposal in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local law.
  8. Your purchase and possession of these materials is lawful in your jurisdiction, and you have verified this yourself rather than relying on us.

If you cannot affirm all eight, do not order. Misrepresenting any of them is a breach of our Terms of Service and grounds for us to cancel your order and decline future ones.

Handling and safety

Treat every compound as a substance of unknown hazard. Use appropriate personal protective equipment. Work in a properly ventilated space. Do not eat, drink, or smoke where these materials are handled. Store lyophilized material as directed on the vial label — generally sealed, dry, dark, and frozen. Dispose of unused material and containers in accordance with your institution's chemical waste procedures and applicable regulations.

We do not provide handling protocols, dosing guidance, reconstitution ratios for administration, or any other information oriented toward use in a living subject, and we will not answer questions of that kind. Please do not ask — it puts our staff in an impossible position and we will simply decline.

Certificates of analysis

Each lot ships with a certificate of analysis describing the identity and purity of that specific lot as measured by the issuing laboratory. A COA is an analytical record. It is not a safety assessment, not a clearance for any application, and not a warranty that the material will perform in your experiment. Its findings apply to the material as it left our custody, under the conditions stated on it.

Age restriction

This site is restricted to adults 21 and over. We use an age gate on entry, and we may decline or cancel any order where we have reason to doubt the purchaser's age.
